New Marketing chief at MoSys
MoSys, a provider of system-on-chip (SoC) memory and analog/mixed-signal IP, has appointed Michael J. Maia as its vice president of marketing. Prior to joining the company, he was co-founder, vice president and general manager of PortalPlayer. Previously, Maia was senior director of marketing at National Semiconductor, vice president of marketing at Cirrus Logic, and served in various capacities at Trident Microsystems, including vice president of sales and marketing.
