Spectrum monitoring range extended

CRFS is launching the latest additions to its RFeye node family at DSEI 2015. The RFeye family has been designed for continuous remote monitoring of the spectrum, providing real time information on spectrum use, as well as the ability to map, display and analyse high volumes of data. The devices support direction finding and radio geolocation techniques in regulatory, security and military applications.

The latest models – RFeye Node 50-8 and 100-18 – are said to offer faster sweep speeds, improved sensitivity, bandwidths up to 100MHz and a frequency range of 8GHz or 18GHz.

Alistair Massarella, CEO, said: “Our COTS solutions deliver exceptional RF performance and our software provides the flexibility to address expanded operational needs for more effective use of spectrum while addressing new threats with increased speed and agility.”
