Key Features and Performance
The AL8853AQ operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 65 V and can deliver output voltages up to 100 V. It supports programmable switching frequencies from 50 kHz to 1 MHz, allowing designers to optimize efficiency and EMI performance.
Main advantages include:
- Multi-phase operation (1 to 4 phases) for higher power and reduced current ripple
- SPI interface for dynamic configuration, fault reporting, and real-time diagnostics
- Built-in protection: over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and LED short/open detection
- AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualification and wide temperature range (-40°C to +150°C)
- High current accuracy and excellent dimming performance
