pSemi is expanding its power management portfolio with two new high-efficiency devices targeting fast-charging mobile devices and high-voltage compact systems for robotics and industrial applications. The PE26100 multi-level buck converter and PE25304 switching-capacitor power module address the growing demand for higher efficiency, lower heat generation, and smaller form factors.

pSemi new power ICs for mobile charging and robotics applications
PE26100 – Multi-Level Buck Converter for Fast Charging
The PE26100 is designed for direct battery charging in smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. It supports up to 6A output current and works across USB Power Delivery (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) standards. The device can operate in 4-level or 3-level buck mode and also functions as a fixed-ratio charge pump (2:1 or 3:1), providing excellent flexibility and efficiency in thin, thermally constrained designs.
PE25304 – High-Voltage Switching-Capacitor Module
The PE25304 is a 4:1 fixed-ratio switching-capacitor power module optimized for 48V architectures. It accepts input voltages from 20V to 60V and delivers up to 72W output power with efficiency reaching ~97%. It is particularly suited for dexterous robotics (such as humanoid robotic hands), drones, medical devices, and compact industrial systems where size and thermal performance are critical.
Target Applications
- Fast charging for smartphones and mobile devices
- Humanoid and dexterous robotics
- Drones and UAVs
- Medical equipment
- Compact industrial power systems
Both new devices help designers achieve higher power density, better thermal performance, and simplified system architectures in next-generation electronics.
