Battery test: ccoperation between Gustav Klein and Basytec

Gustav Klein GmbH & Co KG, Schongau (Germany) and BaSyTec GmbH, Öllingen (Germany) announce their cooperation in high power battery test systems. The systems can be delivered with an output voltage of up to 1000 V, output power of up to 200 kW and up to 600 A output current. The IGBT technology of Gustav Klein allows current rise times of below 5ms what makes the systems suitable for testing of HEV, PHEV and EV batteries. While discharging the energy is recovered into the power line. The BaSyTest software from BaSyTec allows flexible definition of test procedures and data analysing. Flexible interfaces allow the integration of climate chambers and monitoring systems (i.e. via CAN) as well as other third party hardware and software. Additionally an independent battery safety device monitors all relevant battery signals and can shut down the whole system in case of abnormal battery behaviour. Since 1948 Gustav Klein GmbH & Co KG, Schongau (Germany) is worldwide active in high power supplies. The BaSyTec GmbH has established itself in the market by their flexible battery test systems.
