Murata Manufacturing has launched the GCJ21BD72A225KE02, the world’s first soft-termination multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) that delivers 2.2μF capacitance at 100V DC in the compact 0805 (2.0 × 1.25 mm) package. This breakthrough significantly reduces board footprint while maintaining high reliability for automotive applications.
