TDK Corporation has expanded its ultra-compact snap-in aluminium electrolytic capacitor series (B43645, B43657, B43658, B43659, B43660, and B43661) with rated voltages up to 500 V. These capacitors are designed for high-power density applications in AI server power supply units (PSUs), high-performance switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), UPS systems, and solar inverters.

- Dimensions: diameter 22–35 mm, length 25–100 mm

- Design: aluminium can with PET sleeve, snap-in terminals, integrated pressure relief vent
- Versions: 2-terminal (standard) and 3-terminal (for correct polarity insertion)
- RoHS-compliant and vibration-tested according to IEC 60068-2-6
The compact capacitance-voltage (CV) design allows engineers to fit more capacitance into limited board space, increasing power density without enlarging the capacitor bank footprint. These devices are particularly suitable for continuous high-load operation in AI data centre power supplies.
