Viprof Electronics VE0126 Interface Brings Spotify to Legacy Amplifiers

Viprof Electronics has developed the VE0126 Up2Stream interface that enables conventional power amplifiers without digital or streaming inputs to play Spotify and other network audio. The device connects streaming audio to the amplifier’s auxiliary input, allowing users to modernise existing audio systems without replacing the amplifier itself.

Key Characteristics — VE0126 Up2Stream Interface

  • Function: Adds Spotify / network streaming to amplifiers that lack digital inputs
  • Output: Line-level ≈ 400–500 mV (AUX input compatible)
  • Audio decoding: up to 24-bit / 192 kHz
  • Connectivity: Requires smartphone and device on the same Wi-Fi network
  • Separate power adapter required
  • Existing amplifier continues to handle power amplification

Additional Product — 2.1-Channel Class-D Amplifier

  • Power rating: 50 W (L) + 50 W (R) + 50 W (subwoofer)
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth
  • Smartphone app control
  • THD:< 0.03% at 1 kHz, 1 W, 24 V, 4 Ω load
  • Efficiency: > 90% (enables plastic enclosure due to low heat generation)

Both products illustrate Viprof’s approach of identifying unmet customer needs and developing indigenous solutions around them.
